So I jumped on the Fursona Generator bandwagon and actually got something that could be really cool… or really terrible.

I wasn’t sure what route to go, so I just flung it to the wind and hoped for the best. Two hours later, and six skeletal references - this is the outcome. I am ashamedglad to say I have an anthropomorphic snake character after a billion years. This is Bhūta! That gold colored scribble is a spinal brace, I’m still tinkering with it.

Welp. There you go. :D

Hi followers, fans, and supporters, I have been hand-selected by RAW:natural born artists to show my work at their next artist showcase in Columbus called ALLURE, but I need your help! The event will be held at 503 S Front St #260 @ Shadowbox Live on Tuesday August 19th @ 7pm. The event is 21+ and the dress code is cocktail attire. I’m writing to you to ask for your support to be a part of this amazing event! Not only can this event help me network with other great local artists and expose me to 500+ attendees, it can help me expand nationally as well. Here’s how: RAW is providing me with a video interview and b-roll footage of the event, as well as head shots and photos of my display and work to help me to further promote myself independently. I’ll be eligible to win the RAW artist of the year award locally and/or nationally! AND I will have an opportunity to showcase again OUT-OF-STATE at any other RAW location of my choice! All I have to do is sell 20 tickets to help promote the event. Your support would be greatly appreciated. The tickets are only $15 and need to be sold by Tuesday, August 12th in order for me to participate. If you buy them from me you also save $5 because they go up to $20 at the door. You can purchase tickets right from my RAW artist profile: http://www.rawartists.org/padmabhujaga If you are not available to attend that night, you can still purchase a ticket to support me and my work as a sponsor. This will open up a guest list spot for me to invite someone who can attend (friends, clients, record label owner, gallery owner, etc.) For those that buy a ticket and cannot attend the event, email me at padmabhujagaart[at]gmail[dot]com with your name and a screenshot of your confirmation, and I’ll send you a free set of buttons and mini print! Thank you so much for your support, I couldn’t do this without you! Namaste, Simhanada

Posting these from my instagram so as not to be a bum!

At the end of July, I traveled back home to Indianapolis to see the show I’ve waited years to see - the show I thought I’d never ever see. Varekai was everything I could have wanted and more in a performance and its still just as dear to me as it was in 2008 when I was first introduced to it.I love Cirque du Soleil, seriously.

And since then this guy has punched a hole into this world from the other with my feels, so its been a constant them since I’ve gotten back. I don’t foresee it stopping any time soon either!

Being the last person to have lunch on the schedule sucks but it also means I don’t have to share the breakroom - which means art gets done.
Been working on this for about two days now, and I’m just moving to the background and picking a palette. Or at least narrowing down a palette lol~

Patreon

I know I’m a bit late signing up, but it wasn’t until I talked with one of my favorite artists that I decided to try.

I’m officially set up for Patreon, and while I don’t expect anything, I’m excited to say I’ve taken the step! I’ve been having some good vibes about my art career recently (despite feeling a bit down about it) and it looks like there may very well be a chance for me. I’d like to use Patreon as a baby step to making a living off of art solely.

I’d like to thank everyone who has gotten me this far with your kindness, patience, support, and encouragement. <3

Finally getting around to posting this!
I was digging through an old sketchbook from a year or so ago and found this sketch of Sadhana. I hadn’t worked on it in so long and after rewatching The Little Mermaid I decided to go ahead and finish it up. I worked on it off and on for about a week during my lunches at work. There are some progress shots here on my instagram - http://instagram.com/fossabossa
I’m really happy with the way this turned out even if the scanner killed a lot of the lighter details.

This has been a long time coming, I just didn’t know it until it nailed me in the face.
I’ve been sketching some very personal things since late last year and have been reluctant to share them until I was sure I was ready. The story behind that isn’t one for here, but what I can divulge is that while I consider myself to be multiple, this is how I choose to show myself - the container, the body, the essence, the amalgamation of all inside.
What you see is my body (idealized in some ways), with the head of a lion and the horns of a bull. Two powerful and meaningful symbols to me, two things that say a lot about me for people that know me.
Clutched in hand is a broken arrow and the gold sun rising. All of the jewelry save for the septum piercing are what I wear, the septum will be coming very very very soon (bday present to myself).
I am a Lion. Wake up and roar.

Happy Draw A Centaur Day! 8D
Actually managed to contribute a good sketch this year and the lucky candidate is Balrog. I haven’t drawn this butt ugly swamp monster in ages so I figured he’d be the perfect odd centaur for the day!
